Half-Life 1: A Revolution Released in 1998 by Valve Corporation, Half-Life brought a new breath of fresh air to the first-person shooter (FPS) genre. The game stood out for its narrative and atmospheric depth. Our main character, Gordon Freeman, works as a physicist at the Black Mesa Research Facility, where a failed experiment opens an interdimensional portal, leading to an alien invasion of Earth. Freeman fights to survive against both these creatures and government forces.
