VirtualBox Kali Linux Installation Guide
Introduction: Kali Linux is a Linux distribution designed for security professionals and ethical hackers. This guide will walk you through the steps to install Kali Linux on VirtualBox.
Requirements:
- VirtualBox (İndirme bağlantısını görmek için Giriş Yap veya Kayıt Ol.)

- At least 4 GB of RAM and 20 GB of disk space
Step 1: Install VirtualBox Download and install VirtualBox on your computer. Once installed, launch the application.
Step 2: Create a New Virtual Machine
- Click the New button to create a new virtual machine.
- Name your virtual machine and select Linux as the type, and Debian (64-bit) as the version.
- Set the memory size to at least 4 GB (4096 MB).
- Choose Create a virtual hard disk now and click Create.
- Select VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image) as the hard disk file type.
- Choose between Dynamically allocated or Fixed size (dynamically allocated is recommended).
- Set the disk size to at least 20 GB.
Step 3: Attach the Kali Linux ISO File
- Select the newly created virtual machine and click Settings.
- Go to the Storage section.
- Click on the empty CD icon labeled Empty and then choose the Kali Linux ISO file from the right side under Optical Drive.
Step 4: Install Kali Linux
- Start the virtual machine. The Kali Linux installation screen will appear.
- Select Graphical Install.
- Set up language, region, and keyboard settings.
- Configure network settings.
- Complete the user account, password, and disk partitioning setup.
- Once the installation is complete, reboot the system.
Step 5: Install VirtualBox Guest Additions
- After logging into Kali Linux, open the terminal.
- Run the command sudo apt update && sudo apt install virtualbox-guest-x11 -y.
- Reboot your virtual machine.
